Helloooo! Anime and Manga Fans! XD the anime I'm reviewing is called “Girls
Und Panzer” and this is to make up for missing a week, lets get started...
The Anime is 12 episodes long with 2 bonus episodes, as well as a movie
sequel that will be released some point in 2015, it was aired in Japan in 2012,
and a year later they made the 2 bonus episodes.
Its Genres are: school/ military/ action/, and the story starts like this…
The main character “Miho Nishizumi”, has just transferred to “Oarai Girls’ High
Und Panzer” and this is to make up for missing a week, lets get started...

School” which is located on a massive aircraft carrier, (think college campus
with its own wilderness, mountains / forests/ etc...etc...) in this world, the most
popular sport is “”Sensha-do” – 'the way of the tank' (which in the dub it’s
called ”Tankery”) in which teams from different schools compete in battles
using WW2 era Tanks, (so it’s just schools competing against each other,
BUT WITH TANKS!)
Anyway, “Miho” comes to this school after an incident in her last school
involving “Tankery”, which caused a bit of a family rift, and since the “Oarai
Girls’ High School” had (at the time) decommissioned their “Tankery” program,
it seemed to be the ideal place to transfer to get away from the sport, but not
long into her second year, and with the world championships fast
approaching, the schools student council decides to reactivate there long
dormant “Tankery” program, and since “Miho” comes from a prestigious
“Tankery” family, she is roped in to help, now, along with her 4 new friends,
she’s back in a Tank, and back in the Game.
Don’t read this wrong, even though it’s about girls fighting in Tanks, this is
amazingly light weight compared to the rolling heavy weapons they ride, the
fights aren’t fatal, they go about like normal teenagers shopping, hangout,
talking about boys, and instead of going about in normal transport, they drive
about normally in a freaking TANK!, they even pimp it up with pillows and junk,
to boot, their school is on a giant aircraft carrier that has forests and
mountains!!!, can you think of one that big, point is, if you think you know what
this Anime is about, surprise!, you don’t !-)
